Refund Policy

1. Free tier first
Channelvox offers a free tier that includes 2 scripts per month with access to idea discovery, hook generation, and full script writing. The free tier is designed to let you evaluate the Service before you decide to subscribe. We strongly recommend trying the free tier first.
2. Discretionary refunds: none
Once a paid subscription period has been purchased, the payment is non-refundable. We do not offer discretionary refunds for change of mind, partial use, accidental purchase, or any reason outside the statutory rights described in §3 below.
Because paid subscriptions do not auto-renew— each period is billed once at the start and expires automatically at the end — you cannot be unintentionally charged for a future period.
3. Statutory rights (EU, UK, and similar)
Where the law of your country of residence gives you a non-waivable refund right, we honor it. In particular:
- European Union— you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU). For digital services this right may be waived at checkout if you explicitly consent to immediate performance; otherwise it applies in full.
- United Kingdom— you have equivalent rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Other jurisdictions— any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies in your country is honored regardless of this Policy.
These statutory refunds are processed automatically by Polar (our Merchant of Record) when you request them through their support channels at the point of sale.
4. Polar as Merchant of Record
All Channelvox subscriptions are sold and processed by Polar.sh, which is the Merchant of Record on every receipt. Polar may, at its own discretion, issue a refund directly to a customer in order to prevent a payment dispute or comply with applicable law. Such refunds are made under Polar’s own buyer-protection policies and are not within our control.
5. Partial subscriptions and account deletion
We do not pro-rate or refund unused portions of a paid subscription period. If you delete your account before the end of a paid period, you will not receive a refund for the remaining days.
6. Duplicate or erroneous charges
If you believe you have been charged in error (for example, a duplicate transaction caused by a payment processor issue), contact support@channelvox.com with your Polar receipt. We will work with Polar to investigate and refund any genuine duplicate charge.
7. Service outage credits
We do not offer compensation, credits, or refunds for temporary service unavailability caused by maintenance, third-party outages (our hosting, database, AI, payment, email, or monitoring vendors, or the YouTube and Google APIs), network issues, or force-majeure events.
8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account while the dispute is under review. We will provide evidence to Polar and the issuing bank that the service was delivered as described.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply to purchases made after the change date; statutory rights are unaffected by any update.
