Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Channelvox (the “Service”) is operated from Bangladesh (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Service is accessed at channelvox.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
Channelvox is an AI-powered YouTube scriptwriting assistant. It helps creators discover outlier video ideas in their niche, learns a creator’s voice from their existing transcripts, generates hook variants and full scripts in that voice, and breaks long scripts into Shorts.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. Channelvox is intended for adults, including content creators, marketers, and businesses. It is not directed to, or intended for use by, children or anyone under the age of 18. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Generate or publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
- Upload transcripts or material you do not have the right to use;
- Use the Service to harass, spam, mislead, or impersonate others;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission;
- Use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law or the YouTube Terms of Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our reasonable discretion.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Channelvox offers a free tier with limited usage and paid tiers (“Creator” at $17/month and “Studio” at $40/month). Paid subscriptions are sold and processed through Polar.sh, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Polar’s own terms apply in addition to ours at checkout.
Paid subscriptions do not auto-renew. Each subscription is billed once at the start of its period and expires automatically at the end of that period. To continue paid access, you must re-subscribe through the pricing page. You will not be charged again unless you actively go through checkout a second time.
Prices, plan benefits, and usage caps may change. We will give reasonable advance notice via email or in-app notice for material changes. Changes take effect at the next purchase cycle and never retroactively for an already-paid period.
6. YouTube data
Channelvox uses the public YouTube Data API to discover outlier video ideas and to import transcripts of videos you choose to add. We do not sign in with or connect to your YouTube account, and we never post to, modify, or delete anything on any channel. By using these features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any content you create with the Service complies with YouTube’s policies.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. In short: we do not offer discretionary refunds, but statutory consumer rights (including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) are honored automatically by Polar where they apply.
8. Your content
You retain all ownership of the content you upload and generate (transcripts, voice profile, hooks, scripts, research notes). By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (extracting your voice, generating scripts, attaching research context, etc.). We do not use your content to train any AI models.
9. AI-generated content
The Service uses third-party AI models to generate hooks, scripts, Shorts breakdowns, and analysis. AI output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations, and you are responsible for reviewing and editing anything you publish. You should not rely on AI-generated output for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify important information against authoritative sources.
10. Service availability
We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any specific feature will remain available. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Account deletion cascades to all of your channels, transcripts, voice profile, scripts, ideas, and other data. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Channelvox and its operator from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Bangladesh, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise (in which case the courts of your country of residence may also have jurisdiction).
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. For material changes that affect your rights we will give reasonable notice (email or in-app). Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
